  • 1 finely chopped garlic clove 
  • 1 cup of unflavored mayonnaise

  • ¼ teaspoon of Kosher salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon of cayenne pepper 
  • ¼ cup Italian parsley leaves (minced or flat-leaf)
  • ½ a teaspoon of white synthetic vinegar
  • Half a tablespoon of dill (fresh or minced)
  • ½ a teaspoon of black pepper (ground)
  • 1 tablespoon chives (freshly minced)
  • ¼ to ½ a cup of buttermilk (quantity can be adjusted to obtain desired consistency)
  • ¼ teaspoon of red paprika powder
  • A dash of hot sauce

Making of Ranch dressing:

Ranch dressing can be easily prepared within two main steps. 

Step 1:

Take a bowl and add finely chopped garlic clove in it. Now sprinkle a pinch of salt and mash it with a spoon. Form a paste-like consistency, and it has done. 

Step 2 to:

Take a bigger bowl and add garlic paste to it. Now keep adding ingredients including black pepper powder, mayonnaise, hot sauce, parsley, sour cream, red paprika powder, chives, cayenne, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, and dill. Mix all these ingredients and make sure there are no lumps in them. 

Now start adding buttermilk and keep on adding until the desired consistency achieved. While mixing, taste the sauce periodically and add seasoning accordingly if required. You can make it thin by adding more buttermilk. Once you have prepared it, please keep it in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. 

After refrigeration, if the sauce gets thick again, you may add more buttermilk to make your desired consistency. It should be thin enough to pour down easily.
